Red Party
Hosted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence
SF Russian Center
We were a last-minute addition to the Red Party presented by The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

We performed well, but as the review in the Bay Area Reporter indicates, the crowd wanted dancing and we were more for listening.

The Chronicle and Examiner both ran front page articles about the Red Party, specifically the red (communist) flags displayed per the rental contract but to the dismay of the Russian Center.

Personnel:

  • Matthew McQueen, lead vocal
  • Tony Kramedas, vocal
  • Karl Brown, piano, vocal
  • Tom Gschwind, violin, vocal
  • John Selby, saxophone & flute
  • Steve Graham, string bass
  • John Orlando, drums

The Sisters also shared the bill with Automatic Pilot at the following events:
Bette Rhino Revue
Fabulous Follies of 1981
On Broadway Sep 1, 1982
